It can be caused by multiple pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, and parasites. Bacterial pathogens are among the leading causes of diarrhea.
This product is designed for the qualitative detection of diarrheal pathogens in samples from patients with suspected diarrhea, encompassing 5 types of viruses and 13 types of bacteria.Viruses include:Rotaviruses (Groups A, B, and C)、Noroviruses (Genogroups GI and GII)、Enteric adenoviruses (Types 40 and 41)、Astroviruses、Sapoviruses、Bacteria include:、Diarrheagenic Escherichia coli (E. coli), including enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC), enteroaggregative E. coli (EAEC), Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC)/enterohaemorrhagic E. coli (EHEC), and enterotoxigenic E. coli (ETEC);Vibrio parahaemolyticus:Salmonella spp.、Shigella spp. / Enteroinvasive E. coli (EIEC)、Vibrio cholerae、Campylobacter jejuni、Campylobacter coli、Plesiomonas shigelloides、Clostridioides difficile、Yersinia enterocolitica、Cronobacter sakazakii、Aeromonas hydrophila、Vibrio fluvialis,This product can differentiate the above 18 pathogens in the sample. Among them, noroviruses can be distinguished into Genogroups GI and GII, while the specific subtypes or strains of the other pathogens cannot be identified.
